After over a month of not knowing we are officially moving to Denver. Tom's job is tranferring him there for a H.R. position. This is such a blessing for Tom and I as he is just finishing up his degree in HR. We don't know all the details (when we will be moving) but we are so excited. I don't think the reality of leaving all of our families and friends has set in yet and the tears I'm sure will come. But we are so excited to have a normal shift (9-5pm) for Tom. We will keep you updated as we find out more. Also we have to sell our cute house so if you know anyone who wants a cute remodeled house within walkind distance to Front Runner, let us know. We love you all...

Our Weekend...
This has been a whirlwind of a weekend. It started with Marianne and Becky coming into town Friday afternoon. It was soooooo nice to see Becky, (we haven't seen each other since Nov.) Candi watched the kids for me and we all went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was so nice to get away and reconnect with Becky. It's funny because after that long it was like we never missed a beat. I guess that just how it is with true friends.
The next morning we drove to Laketown for Ruths funeral. It was beautiful and so nice to see everyone and hear all the fun stories and memories of Ruth's life. She was such a amazing girl and such a blessing to our family. I am so glad my kids were able to get to know here and I am sad that we won't have her around anymore. I love that she was able to teach them about people with disablites and "normalize" it. Now when Riley and Brooke see someone with downsyndrome they aren't scared they just say "hey, they are like Ruth." I think that was such a blessing and I just hope they remember her.
We then made the trip back to Honeyville for the burial. I drove Logan Canyon for the first time and was so nervous. It didn't help that it was a little rainy and snowy but I did it and was so proud. I felt bad for Frank and Amy because we were following them and the probably thought I was driving like a grandma...sorry.
At the cemetery we pulled up and Riley said "I know what we are doing here, we are going to plant Ruth." I laughed so hard, and I guess it's kind of true. We put them in the ground and they will be raised again into something beautiful and new. I think this is especially true for Ruth since she will be resurected with a perfect body. I guess it bring new meaning to the phrase "Bloom were your planted." After the burial we all went to Ted and Jens. It was so nice to just let the kids play after a long day and visit. We then came home and crashed. Church was good today and since Becky was here Tom went to priesthood. He was so glad to go and I am glad to have a husband who actually wants to go to priesthood. We are in charge of sharing time on Easter so I attempted to start to plan it with our class but with 5 year olds this should be interesting. Tonight we went to dinner at Candi and Kelly's it was so nice to not have to cook. Gotta love that. Anyways Suz is coming to visit me tomorrow since her boys are out of school so I am going to let Riley stay home, I know horrible mom seeing as he had missed so much time being sick but I think we deserve a fun day.
P.S. This picture was taken thursday. Elle has found a new true love Fruit Cheerios...I love them too because they keep her occupied...

Is it only Thursday?
This has been one of those long weeks, it started out fast but has slowed to a seemingly snail pace. Elle has started to try and crawl/scoot. She does the caterpillar were she sticks her butt in the air and then inches forward. She has mastered the scoot backwards and has gotten stuck under the couch and my bed several times.
Tom has been working his tail off and for the past 3 nights has gotten home after 3am. It is so yucky for him, but he doesn’t complain..I can't say the same about myself. Riley is home today, he went to school in the morning but at 11:00 the school called to say that Riley was in the office with a sick tummy. Sadly he didn't make it to the bathroom on time. Luckily no one in his class new except his teacher but he was devastated. He was crying and told me, "I thought this was going to be a fun day but this was the worst day ever." It was so cute and sad. I don't know what the problem was because after a shower and a bath he seems to be fine. We almost made 2 weeks in a row without missing a day..oh well. Brooke has been her regular goofy self, though today she has decided to have another emotional day.
She started crying because we looked at her while she was eating. I guess I have had days like that too. Ruth’s funeral is on Saturday and I have been trying to talk to the kids about it. We talked about how she was in heaven and would have a perfect body and would get to be a mom and have a husband. Well Brooke is now convinced that Ruth is going to marry Grandpa; I don't know were she got that idea from. Riley asked about the resurrection and I told him that Ruth would be then he asked about Easter and I told him that we celebrate it because that is when Christ was resurrected. He asked if Ruth was going to be resurrected on Easter, and now Brooke is convinced of this too. It is so neat to see their little minds work and even though they don't quite get it all the way they believe it. Well I better finish my chores; Becky and Marianne are staying with us tomorrow so I am so excited and need to get my floors mopped. Yeah for visitors...especially Becky who I haven't seen in forever!!!

I love my hubby!!!
Today was one of those days that I realized what a good husband Tom is. We got our cell phone bill and it was over $600.00!!! Now we all know I like talking a lot but even I was suprised and sickened by that amount. Well my sweet husband didn't even freak out. He was so patient and just said "it's ok, we will figure it out.." He even said he would call and talk to them. I just think of how I would have reacted and it would not have been so christlike. I probably would have freaked out in true "Briscoe" fashion. I ended up calling AT&T and working it out, (they waived all the overage charges, over $450, and even credited us an additional 2000 rollover minutes). The problem was that we switched plans and had 8500 roll over minutes that we were told (untruthfully) would continue on our new plan. Well only 550 of those actually came over and so we went over our minutes. Luckily I was able to get it all worked out and didn't even lose my temper with the customer service reps. I guess I learned that kindness goes a lot further than anger... So it's official..I love my husband. Hopefully I can be more like him...and he won't pick up anymore of my bad traits.
P.S. Unless you are on at&t you will probably be getting a lot less phone calls and a lot more emails...

Ruth Wilson
Ruth passed away today. We were so sad and yet happy for her and the reunion she is having with her family. She was such a joy, and will be missed. I put together a little scrapbook of all the fun memories.
We love you all...

Our crazy daughter...
This morning while I was getting ready for church Tom was feeding the kids breakfast, (what a good hubby, he also cleaned out my garage this weekend so we can park in it..yeah!!!), and Brookie started singing and running around. She is such a funny girl. Tom just had to document her little high pitched voice. She still makes me laugh every day! It's kind of long but she just is too cute!

Yes...I am your mother...
Elle is in full fledge stranger danger mode. If anyone outside of our immediate famiy, (i.e. Tom, Dani, Riley, and Brooke) even attempt to hold her she will respond with a screaming, writhing fit. I have to admit that in some evil way I like that she just wants me, but then I realize that means, she just wants ME. Not so fun! Well today I got Elle down for a nap and was going to run to the store with Brookie while Tom did homework and watch Elle. Well Tom's phone rang and woke Elle up. Now let me just say that today was not a pretty day for the Lillywhite househould, namely me. I had my hair pulled back and had a baseball cap on and no makeup (and yes I was going to the store like that, I call it my mom uniform!). Well I picked Elle up and tried to console her but she just kept screaming louder and louder, and acting like she didn't want me to hold her. I finally realized she was freaked out by the hat and took it off. By this point she was in a melt down and it took another 3 minutes to get her to realize that yes..in fact I was her mom. Once she realized it was me she got all cuddly, and giggly and I just had to laugh. What a funny little girl. We talked to Kathryn today and Ruth is still in the hospital. I'll keep everyone updated. Also I just realized that I haven't put the other Lillywhite family news. Fred is getting married to a sweet girl named Sarah on May 30th in the SLC temple. She is very sweet and we are so excited for them. Congrats...

Riley...The Wonder Boy!
So Riley has really grown up in the past 2 weeks he has lost 2 teeth and started reading. I am so proud of him! His teacher says he is one of her best readers. He is so funny, always sounding out words on signs and cereal boxes. He has been trying for a month or so to read some different things, always trying to sound them out, but something just clicked in the past 2 weeks and he has really taken off. I am officially that annoying mom that makes everyone who comes over listen to him read and that now includes you.....

Um....ok, I'd like my job back!
Well last night was a much better night, the kids slept better and I felt almost human this morning. The kids have been playing well and Tom actually did the dreaded Wal-mart trip with me so it was a good day.
As a side note I felt really old today. I ran into my old highschool physics teacher (some of you may remember Mr. Yani). He said he has retired from teaching school. I can't believe I have been out of highschool for nearly 9 years. It is so wierd. I notice that the older I get the less self concious I become, not necessarly in the physcial sense but I had no problem saying hi to him and actually carrying on a conversation. Usually I avoid people I knew in highschool like the plague. I just don't like the whole highschool reunion thing but I must be maturing because it's not bothering me as much. Maybe it's because I am becoming more comfortable with who I am...hmmmm... Anyways Brooke got a new Cinderella "camera" today and has been taking pictures all day it's took cute, which led me to think that I haven't done any videos for a while. So we busted it out. Elle is growing to fast and everything is
Da..DA..Da..Da..DA! I guess we know what her first word will be!

I Quit.
I'm done, done with the runny noses, the whining, the looking like a small army of snails has taken up residence on my shirt. I'm done with the sleepless nights, the high fevers, the endless coughing, and the runny eyes. I am so utterly sick of sick kids. Now don't get me wrong, I love my kids, I love being a mom, and I'm glad that I am the one they want when they are sick...but everyone has a breaking point and just so you know I think I reached mine today. Last night was a night from that dark horrible hot place that we all know and fear. It started with Brooke waking up 6 times from 9pm-10:30pm. I don't know if you would actually call it waking up as I don't think she ever really fell asleep but that is the number of times I had to go in her room and help her. Finally at 11pm I brought her into bed with me. I couldn't fall asleep and thought that Tom would be getting home soon so I tossed and turned for a 1/2 hour until Riley decided he couldn't sleep either and so he joined us in bed. Let me just say we may have a California King bed but you put a plump mom and 3 squirmy kids in it and it shrinks real fast. At this point it's 12:30 and Elle wakes up to what she thinks is a invitation to a pajama party in our bed. She continues to squirm and squeal until she is positive that Riley and Brooke are awake and ready to play. I spend the next 45 minutes nursing, turning, and repriminding the children (Elle was the only one who nursed..hehehe) until finally at 1:23am (yes I checked the clock) I sent Riley packing to his room. Finally as I am about to fall asleep Tom,bless his little soul, gets home and manages to wake Elle up. Well now she REALLY wants to play and I have to spend more time getting her back to sleep. I sent Tom to put Brooke back in her bed and tried to fall asleep. It's after 2am at this point and I have no patience. As it always happens just as Tom and I are drifting into that wonderful dream filled land Brooke starts crying and coughing..so we bring her back to our bed. And so the dance begins again. We spend the next 2 hours until 3:45am wiping noses, taking her to the bathroom and growling at each other. Let me just say Tom and I are not very nice people at 4am in the morning, not to each other and not to our poor children. We both need our sleep and sadly at this point Tom is less than a willing participant. Now let me say usually I have no problem taking care of the sick babies, after all I'm the mom who stays home and blah, blah, blah. But I have a nursing piranah who if unlatched (I know maybe to much info) will start screaming at high pitched dog whistle levels and possibly wake up the one child that is actually getting some sleep. Needless to say words were exchanged and pillows were punched. Eventually we got evryone settled down and from 4:30-7:45am the house was quiet. Now I'm tired and onry and not the best Mom, but the kids are alive and asleep and hopefully this won't be a day they have to rehash in therapy. Heres to a long sleep filled night.....

Ibuprofen + Tylenol + Spongebob = Wild Hallucinations

So we are going on our 2nd full week of sickness. Yesterday Brookie came down with a fever that has been raging ever since. Needless to say we are more than stir crazy and have watched more t.v. and movies than I ever thought possible. I rented Sponge Bob Square Pants "To Love a Patty" from redbox. We have watched it a couple of times a day and the kids love it . In the movie Sponge Bob falls in love with a Crabby Patty. The kids think it is too funny and I must admit out of all the kid shows we have been watching I like Sponge Bob the best. Well I put the kids to bed around 9:00pm tonight. I gave Brooke another dose of Tylenol and tucked her it. Well just recently I hear "Momma, come here, come here." She's crying so I figure she needs blankets or a drink or to go to the bathroom. I go in her room, sit on her bed and ask her what she needs. She looks at me like a drunk little monkey and says, "I need a Patty!" I said you need a patty and she says "Yeah", I reply, "A patty...like on Sponge Bob?" Brooke say "Yeah!" Well Brooke I don't have a Patty!, She stops crying, looks at me and says "OK", then rolls over to go back to sleep. What a funny, little girl. I hope this isn't an indicator of how the night is going to go.
Riley has missed a week of school and has been complaining that his ear hurts hopefully it's not a full fledged ear infection. I am planning on taking him to school tomorrow, he is so excited as he hasn't got to see his Valentines yet. I can't wait tell we are all finally over this, I don't know how much longer I can deal with sick kids, and dads....But we have been blessed as I have yet to get sick so I can't really complain that much!
Goin' on a bear hunt...

Tonight as I tried to think up yet another activity to keep my gaggle of children from going completely stir crazy, I decided to sing the song “goin’ on a bear hunt”. Sadly I realized this is probably the first time I have sung this song with my children well. All was fine and we were singing our little hearts out. You know running thru the forest, climbing over the bridge because, you can’t go thru it or over it. Well then it happened… time for the bear to chase us. So we are “retracing” our steps and Riley has a look of terror in his eyes and has stopped singing. He just gets so freaked out so easily and just the idea of a bear chasing us was enough to put him out of commission. Yet Brooke is still right there with me singing her little heart out, well right as we are almost “back” to the cabin she yells, "Stop Momma stop, I shot it!" I started laughing so hard. I guess you are right, Brookie, we should SHOOT IT!!!....after all it is a BEAR HUNT!!!

Uh Yes, I'll have the Influenza and ear infection with a side of RSV...

So Riley woke up this morning with a fever and Tom was down for the count. I finally decided to give in a take everyone to the doctors. We left around 1:30 and took Elle to her doctors’ appointment. She was so mad when the doctor started poking around at her. He checked her ears and sure enough she has a ear infection and on top of that RSV. Luckily she is doing really well with the RSV so we are just watching her. She cried for 45 minutes after the appointment, that’s even longer than when we got her ears pierced. Finally she cried herself to sleep. After we got done with that we took Tom over to the Instacare as all of the primary care doctors were booked solid. We waited for about 45 minutes and then Tom went back. An hour and a half later Tom emerged with a diagnosis of full fledged Influenza. So I get my wish Tom home on Valentines Day, just not the circumstances I was hoping for. Anyways, I'm tired. Knock on wood that I won't catch anything...

Sneeze, Cough, Vomit, Repeat...
Today has been one of those days. Poor Elle is a giant mucous factory in a small body. She has been coughing, and sneezing, and then vomiting the mucous everywhere. I feel so bad for her but in the midst of it all she had been pretty darn happy. I do think I am going to have to take here to the doctor tomorrow as she still has her fever. Earlier today it looked like a snail was on the loose in our house. There were tiny snot trails all over me and, our couch, courtesy of my little girl. Riley pulled out his other loose tooth after 15 minutes of writhing and squealing. It was hard not to laugh at him as he tried to pull it out. He was so worried, even more than he was last week when he lost his first tooth. Well, I’m tired so I'm going to go to sleep with my little snot factory! Wish me luck!

My Valentines day and early Easter projects!
I thought I would post what I have accomplished this weekend. We had Marianne stay with for a couple nights. It was nice to get to spend some time with her. She was out for Ted and Jens sealing to Cole. Sadly Tom and I weren't able to come as Tom found out late yesterday that he had to work today! Yuck!! Hence the project's. I figure it's Saturday so I should be able to do something besides clean. The valentines are a fun project that I found on www.splitcoaststampers.com they are super easy to make especially with the use of Krystals crimper. I need to get me one. The card is what I am working on for the card group. The theme is Easter and I think the peep turned out pretty cute. I even came up with the idea all my self that is a miracle in and of it's self. Anyways, I'm gonna go Elle has a nasty cold, Claire has RSV and I am just hoping that is not what we have. She did have her immunization shots on Monday so I am praying that is what is going on, unlikely I know but a girl can dream....

Rolly Polly Olly!!
Our sweet little Elle had her 6 month appointment today, to look at her you would think we never fed her. She 18 lbs 15 oz today. I can't believe how big she is. She is even bigger than Brookie was. Riley was 18lbs at 18 months. She is just too cute and oh so rolly. The doctor said she is in the 90th percentile for weight and the 50th for heigth. I guess she is built like me, short and squatty. We couldn't stop laughing at her in the dr.'s office. She did have to get 3 shots so tonight should be interesting . I'll write more later...

I've been tagged!
I'VE BEEN TAGGED!
A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
10 Years Ago: I was a junior in highschool.
5 Things On My To Do List Tomorrow: 1. Work out 2. Catch up the last 3 epsidoes of Lost. 3. Fold about 7 loads of Laundry 4.Scrub my bath tub 5. Hopefully get in a nap, (not that likely).
Snacks I enjoy...this would be shorter if it was snack's I don't enjoy! I love, fresh pinapple, oreo cookies with a tall glass of milk, any ice cream, granola bars, and salsa verda doritos! Yum!!
What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire? Buy a nice(r) house, get Tom his dream truck, pay off all of our bills, take all my favorite people on a 2 week trip to Hawaii. I'm sure Tom would have some other things he would like to do to..Oh yeah, and definatly pay tithing!!! (hehehe)
3 Of My Bad Habits: I love eating dessert in bed! I hate cleaning out the fridge, Tom usually ends up having to do it :(! Rather than just having one junk drawer,I have 2 junk drawers and a full cabinet! Horrible, that should be on my to do list!
5 places I have lived: California, West Point, Salt Lake City, Sandy, and Roy
5 Jobs that I have had: I have been a party hostess at a kids play land. (We actually had to wear red sweats, and a yellow shirt that said "Fun Patrol" on the back). I have been a telemarketer, not my most shining moment, a 411 operator, a receptionist at PCMC and of course a storage unit manager!
Things people don't know about me: I am actually pretty shy until I get to know you, I am a sucker for all animals, and secretly want a dog some day. Regardless of how old I am I still feel like the little sister around my family.
I tag: (Ok I don't know how to create a hyper link, so I'll have Tom help me tomorrow, in the mean time the links are in the upper right corner)

Don't it make my blue eyes red.....
So we have had an eventful week, Elle got her ears pierced on Sat. She was so cute and didn't really cry...it was more of a yell. She carried on for about 10 minutes just yelling at us, it was so sad but she looks so cute. Brooke was all worried about Elle. In fact Tom and the kids went out of the store so "the kids" wouldn't get upset about Elle crying, I really think it had more to do with Tom not wanting to see Elle hurt. We taught our new class on Sunday, Tom and I have been called to be CTR 6 teachers. They are a rambucious class but good for a laugh. Monday Riley had school off, we had another major snow storm so we all just stayed in. I was so lucky to have Riley and Brookie wake up Tuesday morning with raging pink eye. Last Friday Riley came home and said, " Ethan had pink eye!" This is a boy in his class but I didn't give it much thought figuring who would send there child to school with pink eye. Well this boy is also in Rileys class at church. Needless to say Riley now has it. I was able to get some medicine and hopefully he can atleast go to school on Friday. Yuck! Thankfully neither Tom, Elle, or I have got it. Knock on wood!! Well, one of the children is waking up, last night Tom came home @ 2:30 to find me and all 3 kids in bed with me. I'll write more this week, we have some new developements in the Lillywhite household.
P.S. Congrats to Marianne and Steven on the news of a boy!!! We love you!!

Just another day in paradise....
Today I heard that song on the radio and thought, you know what it's true. There is no place I would rather be than in my house with my 3 babies and my sweetheart. We just hung out today, Riley didn't have school so we did absoulutly nothing productive. I have the messsy house to prove it, in fact I have 12 bags of grocerys waiting to be put away but they can wait till morning(I did at least put away to cold stuff.) It was nice and I don't even feel to bad...I think my kids think of me too often as the wicked witch of the west, hopefully days like this will make up for that.

Winter Wonderland!!
The weather here in Utah today is crazy. This picture is of our neighborhood from our porch. It had been storming nonstop. We have gotten well over a foot of snow so far and it is still coming. Tom is out there somewhere trying to make his way home so he can then drive in to Salt Lake for work. He is already an hour late in leaving. Crazy Crazy weather but I have to admit that I love it. Riley is home from school today sick and I love the feeling of having them all tucked in tight and warm in their beds for naps. It makes me want to whip up some hot chocolate and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies..to bad I'm trying to lose weight. This is the first Winter in years that I can remember there being so many storms so close together. Tom is pushing snow for Alamo and said there is well over 18-20" of snow up there. You know its a lot of snow when Tom gets stuck while pushing snow. That is part of the reason he is so late. I guess hwy 89 is closed down because of an accident so that is not helping the cause. Anyway all the snow motivated me to blog our Monte Cristo sledding so you get more pictures. I know you are so excited but oh well. It sounds like Tom is home, I better check out the damage.

Christmas 2007

| Make a scrapbook - it's easy! |
This was Elle's first Christmas and our first Christmas in our house. It is so fun to have so many little ones to share the magic of Christmas with. We had lots of parties and spent a lot of time with family. We had a housewarming party with all our friends and family. We were able to finally make it up to Laketown on the eve of Christmas eve. Fred and his "friend" Sarah were up there and we had a fun time killing bunnies...it's a game. We then had the annual Christmas eve party at my parents house it was so nice to spend time together. This was probably the fastest Christmas season we have ever had. It seemed like it just flew by. Tom surprised me with a new area rug for our front room so I can finally lay Elle down without feeling bad about the wood floor. He also suprised me with a garbage disposal. This may seem to some of you a horrible present but it is really what I wanted. I am so happy to finally have one. The garbage in my kitchen is smelling less and less like a dump. Hurray for that. The kids had a ton of fun on Christmas and it was so nice to have a white Christmas.
We decided to move our computer upstairs in our room so Tom has a quiter place to work on school work so hopefully I will be able to keep up on my blog better. Frank and Amy are back from California. Frank is officially a mortician and we are so happy that we have one in the family. Maybe we can get a discount later on down the road. Hurray for family moving closer. With Jim and Becky so far away it seems like we gain one but lose one. Here is a shout out to Jim & Becky...we miss you guys!! Good luck with your fence!! Ok I am going to go for now...

This is for Frank & Amy
My My how time flies. I have been meaning to update our blog but up until a week ago our computer room was jammed with boxes and the rubbermaid container we were using as a chair just didn't seem very inviting to me. We have moved in and are actually almost settled. Things have just been so busy and as I am learning will probably continue to do so. It seems as though life is like a train always gaining momentum and never slowing down, well until you die and then it is more like a bad train accident not a nice slow stop. Tom and I were talking about how it seemed like
Christmas took forever to get here when we were kids, but now we are looking at each other thinking, "is it really December?" It has come up on us so fast. Anyways I plan on updating more frequently now, but no promises. Elle is currently on antibiotics for her first ear infection. Yuck!! We are looking forward to Christmas in our new house. We really enjoyed having Jake and Amy stay with us for Thanksgiving and to all you outoftowners our house is always open. We love you all!!
Love- Dani
p.s. our SD card is MIA so no pictures, sorry not much has changed, The kids are still cute, Tom is still a red head, and I'm still chubby.

"Moving Day" is fast approaching...
I can't believe how fast the past 2 months have gone by. Elle is getting bigger everyday, Brookie turned 3 and Riley started school. Add on to that the fact that Tom and I got our new house and Tom's relativly new job and we have been a busy little family. I am so excited about our house and it is really coming along good. Tom and I spent about 12 hours on Sat. working on the house and we still have alot left to do but luckily it is mostly stuff that can be done once we move in. I am so happy to soon be able to be a full time mom. I have not had a job for all but 12 months out of the 7 1/2 years that we have been married. I can't wait to be able to have people calling on the phone that I actually want to talk too. We are moving this weekend and hopefully we will be there for more than a few years. We will post more pictures of the house once they have the carpet and tile all the way done...
Love- Dani & Tom
p.s. We are so glad Tom's family has all jumped on the blog bandwagon...it's fun to get to see all the cousins.

Waka Waka Waka......

A man in Topeka , Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute." Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God. The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way.
As he continued to visit churches in Seattle , Dallas , St. Louis , Chicago , Milwaukee ,and around the United States , he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor. Finally, he arrived in Utah , upon entering a church in Salt Lake City,Utah, behold - he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS t ime, the sign read "Calls: 35 cents." Fascinated, he asked to talk to the bishop,
"Bishop, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I
have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to
Heaven and that I could talk to God, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?" The bishop, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in Utah now......It's a local call!"
Cheesy Cheesy but made me chuckle....Dani

We had a lot of help this weekend getting the house painted. We are so grateful to everyone who helped and to all the wives that sent their hubbies to help us. I know how hard it is to be at home with the kids all weekend and am so grateful to all of you for helping us out. Tom and I have felt an outpouring of love and support from everyone and can never repay you for all of your hard work. Though I think we will spend the next couple of years trying!! Anyways we love you all and know that you will be blessed for all of your help...love- Tom & Dani
