Pictures of our house!!! Maybe....

Well as most of you know Tom, and I put in an offer on a house in Roy. We are in the process of completing the contract but it looks like we got it. We are really excited, it needs quite a bit of aesthetic work (as you can tell from the pictures), but we look forward to making it our own. We will probably move in sometime early fall. An update on the baby, I am 36 weeks and already 2 cm. I am hoping to keep this baby cooking at least until the 16th of July when Tom's insurance will kick in, so any prayers would be much appreciated. I think I am the only pregnant women that is hoping to stay pregnant longer..We love you all.

Rileys Preschool Program/ Graduation...

These are from Rileys graduation. He did such a good job. It was obviously american patriotisim themed. Riley freaked me out pretty good when we were driving in the car and he just rambled off the pledge of allegience. I was, "like were the heck did that come from?" He told me he learned it at school. I laughed and had him perform it for Tom later that day. Tom was rather impressed. I can't believe Riley is starting kindergarten this fall. It seems like time is like sand through my fingers and I can't hold on to it. It makes me all weepy just thinking about it (darn pregnancy). I am excited for him though because he really wants to go to school, I'm just not that entertaining I guess...

Holy Cow....I finally remembered my password!!!!

So as you can tell I haven't posted in forever. The server made me create a new account and being the pregnant genuis I am I couldn't remember my password or account info. But tonight I cracked the code. Life has been crazy busy as you all know. Tom got a great new job at Saia Motorfrieght. It is quite stressful at the moment but we are excited with the potential to grow within the company. We even may have decent insurance with this baby as long as I deliver after July 15th (my due date is the 19th). Lets see what else is new, Brooke managed to break her wrist during a wild horsey ride on Riley and subsequently managed to pull of her cast a week early. Needless to say it has been a busy time. Jed and Suzanne had there darling little girl Claire and we were able to attend the blessing this past sunday. She is so cute, I don't think I have ever seen a baby with such petite features. We were also able to go camping over memorial day weekend and spend some time with Candi & Kelly, Emma & Brad, and Eli & Asia. It was fun minus the sleeping in a tent when you are 8 months prego. I will continue to update our blog in the next few days... I will save my log in info for future reference....

Oprah Show!!

As a few of you know I was able to got out to Chicago last week and go to the Oprah Show with Becky. It was so much fun and I will post when the show is going to air. It was Colin Cowley and it was a wedding show. It was so fun to see how everything works behind the scence. We didn't get a car but we did each get a book, and a cute pajama/lounge wear set worth $160.00. Anyways it was a lot of fun and we had a really good time. I can't imagine a funner person to go with but Becky. If you want to see more pictures of our trip check out Beckys Blog @ www.3stinkyboys.blogspot.com

Valentines Day!!

Valentines Day was fun, it was more of a family affair than anything else as we spent the day with the kids. Tom had class that night and so we just had a nice lunch before he left. That evening when he got home we made banana splits.. yum. As you can see Brooke really likes the whipped cream. It was fun to remind each other how much we love each other. Oh yeah, I haven't posted it yet but we found out on Monday that this little bundle I am carrying is a girl. Tom and Brooke are very excited. It will be fun to have another girl and Brooke could surely use the competition for her Daddys love and affection.

Chewy the Wonder Piggy!!!

This is our newest pet, Chewbacca, a cute and stinky guinea pig. We inhertited him, like many of our pets, from the Lutz's. The kids love him and he is a rather noisy little buddy but pretty cute. Tom won't admit it but he thinks he's pretty cute too. Every morning as soon as the kids wake up he climbs to the side of his cage and squeeks until the kids give him a carrot or celery.

Rocky Mountain High!!!

The inversion has been horrible in Utah. Today is actually the first clear day we have had thanks to a little bit of a storm. This past Saturday Tom, and I, Candi & Kelly, Eli & Asia and all the kids went to Monte Cristo snowmobiling and sledding. It was alot of fun and nice to get out of all the gunky air. Also just a reminder to all of you...well maybe nobody really looks at our blog and I just am doing this to entertain myself..but if you click on comments you can post a little note to us. It is really easy and we would love to know if anyone is actually looking at our blog. Anyone can post a comment...come on you know you want too....

I feel like Ronald Mcdonald today....

Today has been just one of those funny days. Brooke woke up mad and just won't give it a rest. She is almost all the way potty trained so we put her in undies. Of course she poops her pants for the 1st time in 4 days. Not only that but I go to put her down for a nap about 20 minutes later and find a mashed tootsie roll on the ground. Problem is it's not a tootsie roll. Yep a little treat from my beautiful daughter that managed to slip through her pants. Yum...tootsie roll anyone?

MMMM REESE'S.....

I saw this and laughed.. good sunday humor.

Top 10 Ways General Authorities Eat a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup

10. Paul H. Dunn: "I remember back in WWII that I ate a Reese'sPeanutButter Cup. Back then, they were big enough to live on for aweek. Being the only soldier to have survived the battle in mybrigade, I really didn't know if I could eat it or not, but I remembermy fallen buddy's words as he died in my arms: "Paul, if you just takeone bite at a time you can tackle anything." So I took that giant cupand, breaking it with the bat Babe Ruth gave me after I struck him outwith two outs in the bottom of the ninth in the seventh game of theWorld Series, proceeded to wolf down the tiny morsels."

9. David B. Haight: "Imagine 70 years ago on a rough road betweenIdaho and Logan. There were no Circle K's, no 7-11's. You had to bringyour Peanut Butter Cups with you. Ruby and I split one for the firsttime in 1937.

8. Dallin H. Oaks: "The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup challenges us toconsume. From the beginning there have been three steps in eating aReese's Peanut Butter Cup. First, remove the wrapper. This is bestdone quickly, by turning the cup over, grasping the outer fold andpulling away from the bottom. Second..."

7. Joseph B. Wirthlin: "When I was young I would sprint to the cornerstore, buy a Reese's and run my hand through my hair before taking itdown in one bite. These days I don't sprint, and I have no hair, butthe peanut butter cup remains."

6. Richard G. Scott: "If you have not eaten a Reese's Peanut ButterCup, I plead with you. Eat one now. Enjoy the chocolate, the peanutbutter. Do not delay. If you have thought, "That's not for me", Iplead with you to reconsider. Of all foods I treasure, this one wasthe first."

5. M. Russell Ballard: "The time has come when members of the churchneed to reach out to our friends and share a cup, a peanut butter cup.It is not enough to raise a chocolate bar, it must now have peanutbutter."

4. Thomas S. Monson: "I remember I ate my first Reese's Peanut ButterCup when I was a tender lad of eight. My mother came up to me, andwith a loving twinkle in her eye, asked, 'Tommy, are you eating aReese's?' And I would invariably smile up to her, 'Yes, Yes, I am.''But Tommy, did you know that Sister Jensen next door hasn't eaten aReese's Cup in years?' My young mind thought upon the plight of myneighbor. Tears were shed. Hearts were gladdened. A cup was shared."

3. Boyd K. Packer: "In all my years, I have always eaten my Reese'sPeanut Butter Cups the same way - the established way we have beeninstructed to eat them. There is a far greater evil in this world -those who believe they can eat their cups in a way unconventional tothe time-honored manner. We must be true and faithful and eat ourReese's Peanut Butter Cups in the customary and recognized approach asit has been established."

2. Neal A. Maxwell: "I intentionally initiate the delicious design ofdeglutition of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup by nibbling a negligiblenit of the culinary creamy cavalcade. It is exclusively through smallentities that the great things are fabricated."

AND THE #1 WAY

1. J. Golden Kimball: "Heck, Heber, I'll eat a Reese's Peanut ButterCup any damn way I want!"

Thought it was good for a laugh. I need to go track down a Reese's peanut butter cup..yum.

Christmas Eve!!

We had a great Christmas eve. We were staying at Steven and Mariannes house and had a big Christmas Eve dinner with everyone. Their was a downside when Brooke decided to get dressed up for the party and found Beckys lipstick. I think the pictures show the rest of the story. Oh the joys of a 2 year old.

We're going to Disneyland!!!!

We finally made it to Disneyland on Saturday. Riley and Brooke were in Heaven. It was so fun to see everything thru their eyes. Frank and Amy (in all her pregnant glory), Jim and Becky, and Roy and Kathy, and all the kids went. It was so fun and the kids loved all the rides. It was decorated for Christmas and almost felt like Christmas. The 75+ weather threw us off a little bit.

The Reception..

The Reception was beautiful. The kids had a ball dancing but not quite as much fun as Ruth. Our vacation took an expensive turn after the reception when the tranmission went out. Luckily we had Frank and Amy and they let us use their van for the whole time we were out there whil our Blazer got fixed. They were our lifesavers.
