Elle's Blessing

We blessed Elle on Sunday. It was so nice, we feel so blessed to have so many people that love our little one.

Waka Waka Waka......

A man in Topeka , Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute." Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God. The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way.
As he continued to visit churches in Seattle , Dallas , St. Louis , Chicago , Milwaukee ,and around the United States , he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor.Finally, he arrived in Utah , upon entering a church in Salt Lake City,Utah, behold - he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS t ime, the sign read "Calls: 35 cents." Fascinated, he asked to talk to the bishop,
"Bishop, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I
have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to
Heaven and that I could talk to God, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?" The bishop, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in Utah now......It's a local call!"

We had a lot of help this weekend getting the house painted. We are so grateful to everyone who helped and to all the wives that sent their hubbies to help us. I know how hard it is to be at home with the kids all weekend and am so grateful to all of you for helping us out. Tom and I have felt an outpouring of love and support from everyone and can never repay you for all of your hard work. Though I think we will spend the next couple of years trying!! Rileys First Day of Kindergarten

Riley started school today. I can't help but have this feeling like I'm losing him. I know I'm not but I realize that the days of having him all to myself are gone. I now have to share him with the world, and even though it just the small world of kindergarten its bigger and scarier than home. I was so proud to see him so confident going into his class. I hope he carries all of that confidence with him forever. Love- Dani

Little China Doll...

Tom and I bought this dress when we were in New York 4 years ago. Tom found it yesterday and put it on Brookie she looked so cute. We even found some cute pink "Chinese" shoes to match it. We put it on Brookie to wear to church today but her cute little tummy busted out the zipper, then tom "caught" her cute little tummy in the zipper. Needless to say Brooke screamed and the dress will not be making an appearance anytime soon. You'd have to say she looks very cute. I may try and fix the zipper, but doubt I will be able to do to my lack of any real sewing skills. Anyways things are going good with the house and I will post some progress pictures of our own sinking titanic. Love you all- Tom & Dani

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

Riley loves he Geotrack train and decided to get it out today and build a huge track that ran the full length of our kitchen and front room. We propped baby Elle up to watch, she like it for the first couple of minutes but after that just wanted to be off of her tummy. We are busy busy with the house but are sooo excited. I will post some pictures later.

My smiling 3 week old....

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes and figured you all probably wouldn't either so I took pictures. Elle is such a sweet baby and so aware of everything that is going on around her. She started smiling last thursday (my birthday!!) and has continued. She is growing too fast and as of her 2 week appointment had gained almost 2 lbs in 2 weeks. I have a feeling she is going to be a chunky monkey like her sister. Riley and Brooke just love her to pieces. Love you all....Dani

Elle is 2 weeks old. I can't believe how fast time goes when you have a new baby. All the days seem to blur into one big long sleepy day. She is so much fun. We had to have her under the bili lights for almost a week and we have had her getting tested almost every day since birth. She is sick and tired of having her poor heal pricked and I'm even more tired of it. Today was hopefully the last day that we had to get her tested. We closed on our house and will be posting before and after pictures soon. It needs a good scrubbing before we do anything. Anyways thanks for all the love and support everyone has given us with our new little one and our other 2 monkeys. They just got back from spending a week with Grandma and Grandpa in Laketown. Brookie started crying this morning because she wanted to see Grandma. I guess thats what you call love!!

Elle Rose Lillywhite

She's here! Elle ("el-lee") was born Monday July 16th @ 11:27am. She was 6 lbs 11 oz and 20" long. We think she is very cute, even with her little "trollish" features. We will post more info later. We love you all! Love- Tom, Dani & our three babies!!!

I can't believe how fast my "babies" are growing up. They are so fun and I feel so lucky to be able to be there momma. I hope when they are in therapy in the adult years they realize that Tom and I are just "winging it" and not intentionally messing them up!! Brooke has been so funny lately. She loves singing and is always making up songs. Yesterday she was singing "Row, Row , Row your boat." She had been singing it for awhile before I really listened to what she was saying. She sings, "Row, Row, Row, my boat crashing down my feet." Too Silly!! Well things are moving along with the house. Our closing date is July 27th. I am still pregnant and holding out for the 16th. Only 14 more days. Well I will be posting a lot more as the 4th of July is tomorrow and Keith and Danielles wedding is on saturday. We are very excited about seeing all of the extended family. It should be fun. Well as fun as doing anything while 9 months pregnant can be....

Well as most of you know Tom, and I put in an offer on a house in Roy. We are in the process of completing the contract but it looks like we got it. We are really excited, it needs quite a bit of aesthetic work (as you can tell from the pictures), but we look forward to making it our own. We will probably move in sometime early fall. An update on the baby, I am 36 weeks and already 2 cm. I am hoping to keep this baby cooking at least until the 16th of July when Tom's insurance will kick in, so any prayers would be much appreciated. I think I am the only pregnant women that is hoping to stay pregnant longer..We love you all.

Rileys Preschool Program/ Graduation...

These are from Rileys graduation. He did such a good job. It was obviously american patriotisim themed. Riley freaked me out pretty good when we were driving in the car and he just rambled off the pledge of allegience. I was, "like were the heck did that come from?" He told me he learned it at school. I laughed and had him perform it for Tom later that day. Tom was rather impressed. I can't believe Riley is starting kindergarten this fall. It seems like time is like sand through my fingers and I can't hold on to it. It makes me all weepy just thinking about it (darn pregnancy). I am excited for him though because he really wants to go to school, I'm just not that entertaining I guess...

Holy Cow....I finally remembered my password!!!!

So as you can tell I haven't posted in forever. The server made me create a new account and being the pregnant genuis I am I couldn't remember my password or account info. But tonight I cracked the code. Life has been crazy busy as you all know. Tom got a great new job at Saia Motorfrieght. It is quite stressful at the moment but we are excited with the potential to grow within the company. We even may have decent insurance with this baby as long as I deliver after July 15th (my due date is the 19th). Lets see what else is new, Brooke managed to break her wrist during a wild horsey ride on Riley and subsequently managed to pull of her cast a week early. Needless to say it has been a busy time. Jed and Suzanne had there darling little girl Claire and we were able to attend the blessing this past sunday. She is so cute, I don't think I have ever seen a baby with such petite features. We were also able to go camping over memorial day weekend and spend some time with Candi & Kelly, Emma & Brad, and Eli & Asia. It was fun minus the sleeping in a tent when you are 8 months prego. I will continue to update our blog in the next few days... I will save my log in info for future reference....

New Baby!!

Eli and Asia had their new baby today. His name is Beck and he is 7lbs 7 oz and 18 1/2" long. So he is a cute stout little bundle of boy. He is super cute so we thought we would post some pictures.

Oprah Show!!

As a few of you know I was able to got out to Chicago last week and go to the Oprah Show with Becky. It was so much fun and I will post when the show is going to air. It was Colin Cowley and it was a wedding show. It was so fun to see how everything works behind the scence. We didn't get a car but we did each get a book, and a cute pajama/lounge wear set worth $160.00. Anyways it was a lot of fun and we had a really good time.
